I'm back working again on my art and the muse is shining brightly on me. I'm working traditionally now, with pencil and markers, and really enjoying the look of black and white. At some time I hope to add color to my images but I'm happy with where I'm at for the time being. I'm really into Mandelas and I still love doing my faces so I've decided to combine the two, along with zentangles, which I've recently discovered. Blending all three in a unique way is really working for me right now, so I'll see where it takes me. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the new stuff.  :)

Thank you

Just wanted to say thank you to all the people that have left kind remarks about my paintings. I haven't been here in a while because I've been diagnosed with cancer and I've had to put all my energy into fighting it this year. I think I've come out the other side, I'm in remission for now, so hopefully I can get back to my art soon. I appreciate every comment and every inclusion into collections, even if I haven't said thank you back individually. I haven't done any art in over 2 years now and I'm really hoping my muse comes back. Wish me luck!

In addition to the 3 month subscription that flaviacabral bought me a week or so ago, I just got another gift! RaNuit just bought me another 3 month subscription, so I have 6 months now! How super kind of them both, and what a wonderful suprise! Please go visit both these lovely ladies and see Flavia's lovely stock, and RaNuit's emerging art!

You're very welcome !
Absolutely love your work ♡ ☆ ♡ ☆ ♡
My Great-Aunt's name was Maggie Cox... would be interesting if we were related :woohoo:
Actually Cox is my married name.
How cool... we could be family :icongrin--plz: then again, Maggie's husband died in WW2, while their son passed in Korea. She was an interesting Lady who painted landscapes and performed as well as taught piano. She passed in the late 60's with us being her only family left, as far as I know. Nice to see the Cox name here! Brought back Lots of Great memories :tighthug:
